Some of the cute hairstyles for girls are gaining popularity, when paired with each individual personal styling technique. The once classic bob or page boy had taken on a fresh new look by being tapered sharply in the back, and graduation down longer pointing to the chin or cheekbones in some cases. This look not only grabs attention, but some have gone as far as to add layers as well, giving body and movement to the hairstyles. Another cute teenager hairstyle that has caught on for all ages, is the plain pony tail, but modified. This one loops the hair only half way through the final draw of the pony tail through the hair band, leaving a "knot" or a fold in your hair. Ribbons, barrettes and other hair adornments add to the charm of this classic but fresh of the regular hairstyles.

Guys find their own in styling their hair to match the times as well. Old styles are meshed with new, leaving some fantastically creative teen hairstyles. The Mohawk is one of the currently popular hairstyles. It plays off the old style, and the length is completely up to the wearers' discretion. We may not ever fully understand the significance of teen hairstyles, but we should not ever dampen the creativity or artistry involved. For some of those in this often misunderstood generation, their hair is the one way they feel they are able to express themselves.
